RJ Coins & Jewelry, a family owned and operated business, is celebrating their 40th Anniversary with an open house event on Saturday December 7th. Local restaurants Finz Seafood & Grill, Sea Level Oyster Bar, Longboards Restaurant & Bar, Olde Main Street Pub, Brody’s Seaport, and The Adriatic Restaurant & Bar are helping them celebrate by donating gift certificates for giveaways. Light refreshments from Finz Seafood & Grill and The Cheese Shop of Salem will be served as local musician Greg Gallo plays acoustic guitar.
During the event, jewelry, coins and scrimshaw will be on sale. “We’re proud to be such a long standing business in Salem and want to thank our customers and the community for supporting us all these years” says owner Rick Buchanan.
The value of the donated gift certificates and a portion of the proceeds from the day will be donated to Plummer Youth Promise, a foster care and youth development organization in Salem.
The anniversary party is being held from 10:00 – 5:00 at their shop located at 68 Wharf St, Salem. For more details and updates, follow the event on their Facebook page here.
